Just like the good ol' days!
Ahhhhh, what a great weekend! Sheree and kids packed up and drove down from Dallas to spend the weekend with us while both of our hubbies were in Utah. It was such a blast! We played, ate some yummy food, took some great naps, played with friends, took tubbies, watched movies, had popcorn parties and had sleep overs every night. Just like the good ol' days! We miss them so much and can't wait for the next visit!

THE movie
Last night was the night that we ( a group of girlfriends and I) and every 15 year old teeny bopper in the world has been waiting for. The Twilight movie came out at midnight and you know we were right there in out matching shirts and all! I'll spare you my critique. I'm too tired to put them in the right order.
***And now it's the next day and I'll tell you how I really feel about that movie....ready? I have NEVER seen a WORSE movie in my life. And yes, I know that a movie made after a book like that will never be as good as I want it to be but they weren't even close. Edward weighed a buck twenty, had CHEST HAIR (how can a marble chest have hair on it?) and was a horrible actor. A lot was missing, a lot was added, the meadow scene was a JOKE. I could go on and on. But I'm over it. It was so fun to read. I had so much fun last night and I would do it again in a heart beat. But now I can move on with my life. The end.
For more pictures and Marci's very THOROUGH critique go to Marci and MIke on my link list!

Blog Worthy

If you live in Orem or Provo you know my brother and his UVU Baskteball billboards and buses. BUT if you don't live there then you might not know what a superstar he is. So let me tell you.
Ryan plays for Utah Valley University. It's not a big name school, they don't get nearly enough credit but it is Division 1 and they have one of the best shooters in ALL of college basketball. My little brother, Ryan, is incredible. He has always had a passion for the game and it has been so fun for me to be a part of his basketball life. Last night he scored 41 points, he only missed 4 shots-see, SUPER STAR I tell you! He's not one to brag, but I am. SO...if you live in the Provo/Orem area, go check out a UVU basketball game, you're SURE to get a good seat every time! Forget those snotty Cougars and cheer for the Wolverines!
I love you Ryan!
Smiles All Around
Today is one of those days where I could just eat both of my kids right up. They are being so good, so cute, so sweet. And the weather is amazing, that always helps!

Johnny boy had his Thanksgiving Feast at preschool today and Livy and I got to join him. We feasted on mac'n'cheese, chicken nuggets, corn, rolls and cookies. Johnny's dream dinner.

This is Livy's new stink face, as I like to call it. She is getting her top two "fang" teeth and likes to show them off by throwin this face at you all day long. I still laugh every time I see it!

Playing Oprah
What a day! I don't even know where to start...some of you may know that we bought John's mom's suburban last week. It's great! I love all the extra room and I love that gas here is only $1.85. But buying a suburban left us with two other cars. We didn't know which one to sell since they both have WELL over 100,000 miles and are quite old. So John called his mom and asked her if she knew anyone who needed a car. She called us yesterday and said she had found someone. A sweet lady in her ward named Miss Vanessa. She is a Katrina evacuee living here with her daughter without a car. But instead of miss Vanessa buying the car we got to play Oprah and just give it to her. John's mom said she felt strongly that she needed this car so she would just take what the car was worth out of what we owed her. So here we are playing Oprah for the day. I wish I wold have recorded it. She walked out and Denise said, here it is, your new car. Its YOURS! And she fell apart. What a great day! Thank you Denise for allowing us to be apart of this!

Happy November Birthdays!
The Allen Family celebrated the November birthdays (John and Papa 11/11, Greg 11/18, and Mckell 11/29) at Taste of Texas on Saturday. It was, as always SO delicious and SO much fun. Here's what I ate. Just me. Count the calories: 2 bacon wrapped quail bites, two jalepeno poppers, a salad, one roll, one 10 oz. steak, a side of au gratin potatoes, two shrimp, a few bites of the key lime cheese cake and a few bites of the creme brule. I'm still full.

We all sat down and didn't know what to do without two wiggle children with us! It was so much fun!

The three boys all have the same size feet. Greggy boy is growing like a WEED!
