A Birthday Surprise!!!
What a great weekend!! Papa Mike surprised us and flew in for Johnny boy's birthday and we had a blast! We ran a 5K on saturday morning, went out to breakfast, did some yard work in the fabulous weather, went to Westwood Gymnastics for Johnny's party, went out to dinner with John's parents and had crawfish (dad's first time) and went to church and hung out on Sunday. It was the perfect weekend! Thanks for coming dad!

1. Sitting in front of the TV, what's on the screen? Sports. ESPN. Sports Center. It's all the same.
2. You're out to eat; what kind of dressing does he get on his salad? Ranch. He IS from Texas, you know.
3. What's one food he doesn't like? He HATES green chile chicken enchiladas. But I love them.
4. You go out to a restaurant, what does he get to drink? Dr. Pepper
5. Where did he go to high school? Mayde Creek
6. What is one phrase he says all the time? "when push comes to shove"
7. If he was to collect anything, what would it be? Expensive Suits.
8. What is his favorite type of sandwich? He likes ham the most. Or anything that is NOT Turkey
9. What would this person eat everyday if he could? Taste of Texas or Perry's pork chop
10. What is his favorite cereal? Cinnamon Toast Crunch
11. What would he never wear? Designer Jeans or an Ed Hardy shirt :)
12. What is his favorite sports team? Houston Rockets, Dallas Cowboys, Celtics, Red Sox
13. Who will he vote for? NOT Obama.
14. Who is his best friend? Me and Ted
15. How many states has he lived in? Two. Texas and Utah.
16. Does he have any nervous habits? He paces when he talks on the phone and he cleans when he's nervous. Not bad for me!
17. What could he spend hours doing? Yard work
18. He is: Very ambitious and driven. Loves his momma. Takes care of his family. Loves his children. An awesome husband. My bestest friend.

Thank Goodness for Sundays
After a busy busy week, especially one like last week, it is so nice when Sunday comes around and we can just hang out at home with family. The weather has been amazing lately so we spend a lot of time outside. This Sunday, John's parent's came over with some presents for the kids after their trip to Utah. Andrea, Johnny loves his Chinese books and Grams, Johnny hasn't put his new Hulk toys down yet. You guys are the best!!
Pure BLISS
The Nixons came to town and needless to say, it was sooooo fun! We went to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on Friday, had a shower for Sheree and baby Elsie on Saturday, played at the park and went to Perry's Steak House that night with Mike and Julia too. It was so fun to have them all to ourselves crammed in our little house. Like I said, pure bliss. Thanks for such a great weekend Nixons, we love you and miss you!
