The BirthDAY!

John and I snuck into her room when we heard the morning chirps and sang Happy Birthday to YOU to our little sunshine. It was like she actually knew what was happening. The day was all about her. We even had a little birthday party at the house where she demolished her little birthday cake in front of all of her buddies. It was a great day and now we're waiting for daddy-o to get home!















THANK YOU to Marci, Addie, Emily, Brooklyn, Ian, Laurie, Brooklyn, Katelynn, Amber, Zane, Leighanna, William, Lindsay, Tayson, Kate, Amy, Lauren, and Jared for her adorable gifts. She loved each and every one of them!

Happy Birthday Baby

Dear Livy Girl,
Today is your very first birthday and I can't believe it! I guess we've been having too much fun to notice the time just flying by. We, your daddy, brother and I, were so excited to have you-our first little girl. I have dreamt about you for as long as I can remember. I think because I loved being the only girl and truly cherish the relationship that I have with my mom that I just couldn't wait to have you. I remember going into the doctor's office just praying for a healthy baby but also secretly praying for my little Olivia. I couldn't believe it. You were coming! Your big brother was so excited to take care of you and your daddy knew you had him wrapped around your finger immediately. You have that affect on people! I love your big juicy lips and your huge belly.I love your little toes and your long fingers. I love your little laugh that comes out only when you are watching your big brother do something silly. I love that your favorite food is pickles. I love that you don't mind being dirty and you like eating leaves and bugs. I love cuddling you when you're tired and tickling you're back. You make me melt every time you look at me and I am so lucky to call you mine. Happy birthday Olivia Rene, I love you.

Another Random Post

We have nothing exciting to blog about so here is another random blog post!

Livy FINALLY got her two front teeth. She had fangs for four months. She's so proud!

And she's finally growing some hair...in back at least. She still has nothing on top.

My good friend Josie threw her son, Mason yet another amazing party with an "outdoor dinosaur museum". They learned about fossils and even had their own dig and dino egg hunt.


It was gorgeous out today so we went to the park with some friend. This is one of the first times Livy has been able to play all by herself at the park, she is loving her new freedom!

A couple next to us had their guitars out and were playing some sweet music so little livy waddled over to their bench and sat there and danced through two whole songs. By the time I got my video ready, she had moved on. bummer.

The Bride is here!

Miss Rebecca is in town this week to look for a wedding dress and bride's maid dresses and look what we found!! She is at the fitting today to have it tailored and cap sleeves made. It is a beautiful dress, so perfect for her. We had so much fun looking at wedding dresses. We went to Priscilla of Boston. WOW! I have never seen so many STUNNING dresses in my life.

Our bride's maid dresses are a plum/eggplant color and I can accessorize with navy and mustard yellow. Any suggestions?



We saw this dress on the rack and fell in love, isn't it cool! If I ever have to work, I want to work at this bridal boutique and help girls play dress up and find their dream dress! And p.s. if anyone has an eligible bachelor to set up my cute sister in law, she'd really like to wear this dress ASAP. She's moving to Utah next week if that makes the setting up easier!

I am SOOOO spoiled!

My SWEET husband sent Livy and I to San Diego for my cousin, Jessica's wedding and for a little time with the girls. It was heaven. The weather was, of course, beautiful. The wedding was even more beautiful. Sheree, Linley, my mom, Livy and I all stayed at the Halverson's gorgeous home and had so much fun. We ate a lot of delish food, saw two chick flicks, got pedicures and did lots of shopping. Livy was so good with the exception of her little melt down on the way home from a whole day of movie, lunch and shopping which ended with her totally puking all over me. Yea, besides that, the trip was AWESOME!! Thanks mom and thanks honey, I love you!!
