About Me

John and I have been married for 9 years and live in Katy, Texas in our first home. Johnny is seven years old now and is a blast to be around. Olivia is four and is a little busy bee. We had Drew in April and have loved having a baby in our home again. John works at his father's company, G&A Partners, and just received his MBA from the University of Texas. As for me, I'm playing mommy all day and just loving life!

Fun in the Sun!

We had such a fun Memorial day! We went shopping, signed up at Lifetime Fitness (I am SOOO excited!), then spent the rest of the day swimming and bbq-ing at John's parent's house. Johnny was outside playing from 1-6 minus the 30 minutes he took to chow three hotdogs. He totally crashed on the way home at 7 and actually STAYED ASLEEP until 7 this morning. For those of you who don't know Johnny very well, he is a late night kid, he's never gone to sleep at 7 in his LIFE. So that was nice!

Our Sunday Walk

When the weather permits, our little family loves to go on a walk around the lake on Sundays. Since Livy hates her baby carrier, I decided to buckle her up in the stroller like a big girl and she actually loved it and almost lasted the whole 2 miles!

Johnny's favorite part of the walk is when we find ducks to feed. He'll usually give them one piece of bread then shove the rest in his mouth! Who knew old white bread could be so delicious!?

Three Months!

Olivia Rene turned three months old yesterday! She is such a sweet baby. She smiles all day long, loves to be held facing outward to see the world and loves her daddy! She is sleeping like a champ these days, 8-10 hours at night, but seems to NOT like sleeping during the day. She'll take 30 minute cat naps and maybe one long nap a day but that's about it! Here are some pictures of her in the last week...

I LOVE getting her all dressed up!

She sleeps on her stomach (has since the day she was born) and loves her hands by her face

The girl spits up more than any child I have ever seen. Her tummy time usually ends up like this

We just got her this swing and she loves it. Johnny did not like swings at all so it's nice to have a baby who will relax in something other than my arms!

My little Allergen

Yesterday I took Johnny in for his allergy tests where they poked him with 80 different little allegen pricks then with another 20 shots...needless to say it was an interesting few hours. Overall, he actually did pretty well. The conclusion was that he is pretty much allergic to all trees, grass, weeds, and molds...and cats. Sorry coodie coodie (my mom's psychotic cat)!

Now What?

Our first year of preschool is sadly over. Johnny had such a great year. He learned a lot and made a lot of great friends! We will miss his sweet teachers Miss Libia and Miss Lisa!

On the way home I was explaining to Johnny that preschool was over and he looked at me in the rear view mirror and said, "Now what?"...my thoughts exactly Johnny, my thoughts exactly!

Amy's Invitation

Here's the invitation Sheree and I made for Amy's shower, cute huh! We thought we were so cute with our little buggy theme! We're even going to make those "cups of dirt" desserts.
