Lets start with Easter

Easter was just splendid in our little house. The kids get into the festivities and we love watching them have fun!

So.....I've tried uploading the pictures on my camera several times but it says the files are "unreadable" and both of our computers are dying.

But here's a quick run down...

*Easter was short and sweet

*We went to Johnny's preschool carnival and it was adorable. Both kids won a cake on the cake walk and they were sooo proud!

*Johnny started t-ball and daddy is the coach, it is pure entertainment!

*We went to the lake house last weekend and I'm even more in love with it!

*Johnny had his first t-ball game and it was adorable. Johnny actually did pretty well. He played "pitcher" (where all the balls get hit) and would run to each one, pick it up and throw it to first base. Yay! After a fifteen minutes he was totally over it and wanted to sit down. But he did NOT play tiger shark so I was so proud!

Mimi and Papa!!

Mimi and Papa Mike came to town two weeks ago and we had sooo much fun!! Mimi came first and we shopped, played legos, ate yummy treats like these to-die-for cookies, played plants vs. zombies on her computer, went to the zoo, went on good walks, went to the Allen's new lake house, went to the outlets, played more legos, painted toe nails, ate good food, hide and go seek, smack down and more computer games. There was never a dull moment!
recipe: one bag Betty Crocker peanut butter cookie mix, make it according to directions, roll in small ball, shove a Rolo in the middle and bake. Then drizzle chocolate on top after they cool on a paper towel, not a rack! That's it. Seriously, the best!
First thing's first, mimi are you cool enough to build legos? Yes.
Plants vs. Zombies. Just one step lower on the dork scale than spider solitaire but my mom and Johnny loved it!
Meems (that's what liv calls her) gave Livy her first glitter toes. They are still on!!

First night out. Livy made a spectacle of herself with this corn.


The girls had a shopping day down town and Livy had to carry the purse around High Fashion Home the whole time. She's a big girl you know.

You know Papa and his exercise! Before the zoo, we went for a lovely walk around the lake.


By the way, it was THE best weather we have ever had. Take that, SEAN.

They were OUT in about five minutes.

We took a little drive on Saturday to the Allen's new lake house. This was our first trip too! It is such an amazing place. Right on the lake, beautiful scenery, lovely house, fully furnished, and enough patio furniture to fit 45 people! I'm sure we will have many many memories there!!

The house came with a kayak and I was the only one excited to try it that day. Johnny had to be chased down and put in, but after that, he loved it! I could do this all day. Liv was not a fan of the life jacket...and had not had a nap in four days
